Unfortunately, registration for this event has now closed. We're eager to see you at one of our future events, so please keep an eye out for our announcements.

Our event is a place to celebrate, have fun and get together. 


As part of our commitment to safeguarding our kinship families, we do need you to include all the details of you and your family group - everyone who will be attending this event. This a ticketed event with booking and registration required.


We'll also ask you to confirm your responsibility for looking after your family group on the day.

To ensure that everyone has a fair chance of attending, we don't guarantee any reservations until we send a confirmation email and text message after you have completed this form. We strongly recommend submitting the form as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

We're grateful for your interest in attending, however we may not have enough tickets remaining for the number attendees selected, and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you. If we are able to register you, then you will receive a confirmation email and text message.

How we might use your image, story, quote or video as a kinship carer:

Kinship aims to raise awareness of kinship care so that kinship families are recognised, valued and properly supported.  There may be times when we ask to film you, take your photo, write up your story of kinship care, use a quote from you and/or share any of your own photos or videos to enable us to do this. 


We may share them with journalists to feature them in print or digital media, radio or TV and social media channels of media publications; use them on Kinship’s channels including in our emails, social media channels and website; on paid for channels such as adverts.

 

We will be able to advise you on things to consider about sharing stories, photos and videos so you can all make an informed choice based on your own circumstances. 


We can also find ways to anonymise your identity, for example, by changing your name on a quote.


Your consent

We understand that your circumstances may change, and with that in mind you always have the right to withdraw your consent at a future date. 


If this is the case, we will remove content where we can but in some cases this may not be possible. If you wish to withdraw at any point, please contact us at comms@kinship.org.uk.

 

We will handle your personal data in line with Kinship’s Privacy Statementand in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

While Kinship project workers and staff will be on hand to support the event on the day, we cannot take legal responsibility for you, your guests or children. A condition of attending our event is that you acknowledge and accept responsibility for looking after and managing your family group.    

Emergency contact details
Sometimes things happen on the day that we can't plan for. We want to make sure we are able to contact someone if that happens and we need to reach your emergency contact. This person cannot be someone who is also attending the event.
