Kinship is updating the Kinship Care Guide for England, it is a printed booklet which provides information for people who are considering, have recently become or are an established kinship carer. It aims to help people to navigate their journey, understand their rights and responsibilities and ensure they are informed as they make decisions about whether to step in to care for a child who is unable to live with their parents.
Through speaking to kinship carers, we know that hearing from other people in a similar situation is invaluable. Therefore, we are adding top tips from kinship carers which we will add to each chapter explaining the different types of kinship care.
Your responses will be used to help us develop top tips to include in the updated guide.
